Dormouse Cottage is a dear little holiday home situated in the popular Dorset coastal village of Burton Bradstock.  With roses around the door, beams dating back hundreds of years and period features such as an inglenook fireplace, Dormouse is a quintessential village cottage in an ideal location for both country and coastal lovers.  Located side on to the main village road which runs through Burton Bradstock, which has narrow twisting lanes with picturesque river walks whilst the stunning Jurassic coast, beach and cliffs are a mere few minutes' walk away.  In the village are two 'centuries old' public houses, one being famous for its award winning restaurant, so booking is recommended. An outing to West Bay, which is less than two miles away, gives you a chance to explore the colourful fishing harbour and to sample some of the locally caught crabs and lobsters.  Bridport, with its busy farmers market and weekly antiques and collectables market, is just two miles away also. Dorset has some wonderful areas to visit. A drive to historic Abbotsbury is highly recommended, after you have explored the village and you have paid a visit to the sub-tropical gardens and Swannery, you can journey along the coast road which spans the whole of the Chesil beach and view the breath-taking coastline from the top of Abbotsbury Hill. At the end of your holiday when you return home you will carry with you lovely memories of magnificent Dorset and your holiday at Dormouse Cottage.

Accommodation:  Lounge with dining area.  Kitchen.  Bathroom, with bath, shower over bath, handbasin and toilet.  Steep cottage stairs to first floor:  Bedroom 1, double bed with door through to bedroom 2, with 2ft 6" single bed.  Some of the ceilings and thresholds in Dormouse are a little low in keeping with the age of the cottage.
