Throw open the French doors and step out onto the gorgeous courtyard area where you can pull up a chair at the patio dining table or why not recline on a lounger and really chill out and get into the holiday vibe? Take your pick of bedrooms when bedtime calls, a super-king-size for the grown-ups and a cool single bed with pull-out truckle bed for the kids. Both offer a calming sanctuary and it is the tranquil setting of Joiners is what sets it apart, languishing in some 350 acres of grounds of Rousdon Estate with gardens, woodlands and footpaths aplenty to explore. There is even a (very steep!) footpath leading to a private beach. A short but scenic drive away is Lyme Regis a beautiful town with narrow streets filled with gorgeous shops and boutiques, and just outside the town there is Lyme Regis Marine Aquarium and Lyme Regis Museum, which both offer a fascinating insight into the history and the marine life of the area. Tunnel Tree Tops, Axe Valley Wildlife Park, Pecorama Gardens, Seaton Tramway and Beer Heights Light Railway are all within easy reach. For an idyllic holiday in a rural setting, Joiners ticks all the boxes.

The delightful seaside town of Lyme Regis has much to offer its visitors, boasting a maze of narrow streets filled with craft and antique shops, galleries and cafes. Take a stroll along the world-famous Cobb causeway overlooking the ancient harbour, where fishing trips can be enjoyed, or try your hand at fossil hunting in the area. The scenic coastal path offers excellent walking opportunities and spectacular views of the stunning Jurassic coast, whilst the gently shelving sands and sparkling waters of Lyme Bay provide the perfect place in which to relax and unwind.
