The Barn is a characterful conversion dating back over 100 years and just renovated to provide a comfortable and modern holiday cottage.  Located next to the owner's house, the cottage has its own entrance and enclosed patio garden.  Surrounded by the rolling hills of Dorset and with many different routes to walk, The Barn is perfect for guests wishing to experience the charm of the countryside.  With the coast just a mile or so away, guests can also explore the magnificent Chesil Beach and Jurassic coast - it is perfect for beachcombing, fishing or just enjoying the views to the horizon.   The nearest pub, The Crown, is around a three minute walk and provides meals and a variety of beverages including local beer.  A community shop is opening in the pub selling locally sourced groceries.   Another village nearby worth exploring is Abbotsbury with its sub-tropical gardens and a unique Swannery.  Around six miles away to the West is the market Town of Bridport which has a variety of markets including antiques and farmers along with a good high street and Weymouth with its Georgian seafront, old harbour and sandy beach is a lazy drive along the coast road through picture postcard villages and breath taking scenery to the East. With so many pursuits surrounding the barn it is the ideal base to explore the many options Dorset presents to guests.
