We loved the grounds with a surprise to look at from every angle - 'Darling Buds of May' springs to mind. Will hopefully visit again at the end of the year. The property is a little gem - talk about get a way from it all and a fantastic reminder of days gone by but with all the creature comforts of today and with a very limited mobile phone signal was a blessing! Being close to Tewksbury, Cheltenham, Stow-on-Wold and Bourton-on-the Water was great. Did not get to visit Broadway, which we were assured was really worth a visit but will visit that next time. The only down was that most of the public footpaths are difficult to navigate, as you need to lift your dog over styles so if you have a larger dog this can prove to be difficult if not somewhat muddy! Thankfully, the grass verges close by were wide enough for my dog to run on with plenty of sniffs as well as being quiet - The Leigh is lovely tranquil Hamlet with no through traffic. Can't really put into words how much we loved it.
