This very spacious holiday cottage, for two people, is close to the owner’s home and you can bring one well behaved dog with you. The cottage is surrounded by countryside and has glorious far-reaching views across the Mendips, and this is a great base from which to explore this part of the country, with many walks locally. The village of Cheddar is about 6 miles away with its famous gorge and caves, not forgetting the shops and eating places. The historic city of Wells, with its beautiful cathedral, Bishop’s Palace and gardens, is again 6 miles away. Also close by you will find Glastonbury, with its tor and abbey, and the World Heritage city of Bath, as well as the city of Bristol, both within an hour’s drive. Shop 6½ miles, pubs serving good food 1 mile.
