Perfect for families or couples, once you step into the cottages you will feel immediately at home, from the comfortable furnishings and the soft tones to the art work on the walls, the owners have made these cottages a wonderful space to holiday, as a couple in Ivy Thorn Cottage (UK30114) or a small family in Plum Tree Cottage (UK30115).
Each cottage enjoys a private patio, ideal for al fresco dining, with access to the shared garden and duck pond, where the children and dogs can run off some steam. From the garden you have access to miles of footpaths, perfect for exploring the local area. The owners have also provided dog wash stations to clean those muddy paws after a fun walk!
Just across the road is the local pub serving great food and drinks – no need to take the car. The local towns of Street and Somerton are just under 3 miles away. Street has an abundance of shops at its outlet shopping centre, Clark’s Village, as well as numerous restaurants. The Saxon town of Somerton is great for wandering around and seeing the ancient buildings. Why not head slightly further afield and you will find the famous town of Glastonbury? Renowned for its music festival in June and rich with quirky shops as well as the wonderful Tor which once climbed has views for miles. Whatever you decide to do during your stay, these cottages are sure to make you feel right at home throughout. Beach 20 miles. Shop 3 miles, pub and restaurant 33 yards.
