Absolutely loved our stay. The house is done to such a high standard and every detail is paid attention to. Our dog loved the open grass in front and made the perfect morning to watch the sunrise with a coffee and for him to potter about. Especially loved the bath with the large windows to gaze out of. Would fully recommend!

When we saw The Old School House on the website we instantly knew we wanted to take our short break there, we could tell from the photo's that it would suit our needs perfectly and we weren't disappointed at all. The house, the setting and the total peace and quiet was all we could ask for. We fully intend to go back. Bury St Edmunds is a short distance away by car. We took part in the Green King Brewery tour which was fascinating. There are lots of nice places to eat in Bury too. We read in the information pack at the house about the walk to a local pub which was tempting but we opted to just stay in and enjoy the endless view.
