Feature folding doors open onto two stunning balconies giving further dining options, if the weather allows. If you want an alternative space for chilling out then check out the playroom which comes complete with a pool table, a TV with Sky and a load of games and books as well as a kettle so you can even make yourself a tea or coffee without disturbing anyone else in the house! Come bedtime and there are four superbly appointed bedrooms, all on the ground-floor, all beautifully finished and offering a relaxing space away from the hustle and bustle of the main house. The property has three bathrooms, so guests don’t need to worry about getting in the bathroom early! Fishermans Loft enjoys a super location in the heart of Thorpeness, which was designed by Scottish playwright and barrister, Glencairn Stuart Ogilvie a 100 years ago and is well worth taking a stroll into. Just a short walk further along the coast is the vibrant seaside town of Aldeburgh which has a great selection of shops and amenities and other coastal places worth visiting include Southwold with its iconic brightly coloured beach huts, Walberswick and Dunwich. Head out in the car to attractions such as Snape Maltings, Framlingham Castle, Yoxford Antiques Centre and Gardens, Go Ape Thetford and Africa Alive Zoological Reserve. To get up close and personal with nature, check out RSPB Minsmere, Oasis Camel Park and Suffolk Owl Sanctuary, all within a short distance of the property. Offering visitors a great base from which to explore the delights of Suffolk, Fisherman’s Loft is a wonderful holiday destination.

Thorpeness is a coastal village resting between Aldeburgh and Southwold. The village is known for its historic windmill and expansive pebble beach and offers a selection of attractions including boat hire at Thorpeness Mere and selection of eateries, while you can stock up on essentials at the nearby convenience stores found at Aldeburgh. Within easy reach of the village is the popular coastal town of Aldeburgh where you can find further attractions and amenities such as another beach, independent shops and coastal walks.
