Cosy, quirky cottage. Great location for visiting Snape Maltings, walking, local towns, beaches etc. Very quiet location and within easy walking distance of 2 pubs. Eateries at maltings are also walkable. The cottage has a good collection of maps for planning walks. We had a lovely week.

Sherfield Cottage is a charming old place with a large garden, sitting right on the edge of this glorious part of Suffolk. Walk out the door and you are right on a footpath which takes you to the woods, the heath and a wonderful river walk to Snape Maltings. This is not the ideal house for those with mobility problems due to the steep stairs and there is only one toilet. The shortcomings are outweighed by its location though.
