Enter the traditional farmhouse via the porch, where you can leave muddy boots after a long walk. From the hallway, head through to the elegant lounge, where comfortable sofas sit around a crackling open fire and a large window looks out on open countryside. To the rear of the farmhouse is a bright and spacious kitchen/breakfast room with everything needed for a self-catering break and a farmhouse-style table overlooking the garden. Preston-on-Wye is a picture-postcard village with a friendly pub and many circular walks to explore through the surrounding farmland and woodlands. The River Wye passes through the village, and you can hire canoes, kayaks, and paddleboards to explore the area from the water. There are also fishing permits available.
