The welcome pack was a nice thoughtful touch. We found everything we needed was there. The bathroom was large and well lit although we could have used a shower seat for our wrinkly bottoms .We were comfortable and warm during our stay with lovely views across the lakes and countryside. This property was not really suitable for our dear friend Mollie the westie due to the wooden floors being slippery under her paws so perhaps bear this in mind if taking a dog with you.We really enjoyed our stay but despite this being a lovely property we wouldnât return purely because of the problems with our dog on the floors.Lovely walks around the lake and plenty of wildlife were a bonus for us.9 out of 10.

It was just as we expected and wanted. Even the internet worked after a little adjustment (placing modem closer to the window). The kitchen, the shower and central heating worked perfectly. The beds are quite comfortable. We had a great time in a great cottage. Thanks.

It was most frustrating that we had no internet connection the whole time we were there, this had been reported by previous customers making iPad use impossible for local information, communication and entertainment. A weak O2 mobile phone signal was available outside.
