A lovely, two bedroom terraced cottage resting in the village of Symonds Yat, homely and inviting, with a modern feel that welcomes you inside. A lovely base for couples or travellers to return to, this retreat offers a comfortable living arrangement, elevated by a light and airy design. The entrance leads you into the lounge which boasts a collection of seating; one side of the room houses two armchairs, whilst the other is home to a comfortable sofa. An electric woodburner-effect fire lies in between the formation, perfect for those cooler evenings. Close by, a well-equipped kitchen is wrapped in a neutral finish, sitting adjacent to a charming dining area which overlooks the pleasant outside courtyard. Stairs lead up to the two bedrooms both beautifully presented with an elegant overtone and bedside tables that mirror each other. The bathroom completes the interior, housing a hand-held shower with an additional shower over to suit your preferences. Spend some of your leisure time relaxing in the small enclosed courtyard outdoors which boasts a barbecue and furniture, or enjoy the shared garden with its views across the river. Wander into the village, where caving, abseiling and a high wire rope course are on offer for the more adventurous, whilst golf, kayaking and canoeing are a leisurely activity in this unspoilt area. Visit the town of Ross-on-Wye with its timbered Tudor houses and delightful riverside walks, whilst just a little further afield lies the unspoilt Malvern Hills, Black Mountains and Brecon Beacons National Park. An area of natural beauty not to be missed.
The quaint village of Symonds Yat stands on the banks of the River Wye, in an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty in the wonderful Wye Valley, and borders the Royal Forest of Dean. The famous Goodrich Castle is situated within the village. Nestling amidst the villages houses are the village hall, shop and two pubs serving good food. Close by, overlooking a large loop in the River Wye, is the historic market town of Ross-on-Wye, in the heart of rural Herefordshire.
