Situated on a working family farm near the village of Honington, close to Shipston on Stour, Ridge Barn is a beautiful ground floor barn conversion which sleeps eight guests in four elegant bedrooms, two of which have en-suites. Formerly the farm’s milking parlour and dairy, the property has been lovingly renovated and features stylish interiors and modern facilities including a wood burning stove, wireless internet access, a Smart TV, well-equipped kitchen and underfloor heating throughout. There is an enclosed garden at the front and parking is available for up to four cars.

The large kitchen, dining room and lounge are a great open plan space for socialising and dining with family and friends. There are pocket doors between the kitchen and dining room if a little privacy between the rooms is required.

Set in wonderful countryside on the edge of the North Cotswolds just three miles from the charming market town of Shipston-on-Stour, Ridge Barn is an ideal base for a relaxing holiday. Once a thriving wool town, Shipston on Stour is now home to a variety of independent shops, pubs and restaurants including The Bower House which was named one of the best 50 places for a Sunday roast in the UK. Surrounded by stunning countryside, there are many cycle routes and footpaths on the farm's doorstep and the Centenary Way long distance walking trail passes through the neighbouring villages of Whatcote and the Tysoes, the former benefitting from a Michelin starred pub. Ridge Barn is ideally placed for exploring the many lovely towns and villages of the North Cotswolds such as Chipping Campden, Moreton-in-Marsh, Ebrington and Broadway, as well as some of Warwickshire’s finest attractions including historical Stratford-upon-Avon, the impressive Warwick Castle, the Cotswolds Distillery and National Trust owned Upton House and Gardens. Further afield destinations such as Oxford, Cirencester and Blenheim Palace are easily accessible for day trips.

The pretty market town of Shipston-on-Stour boasts many shops, restaurants and pubs, together with a magnificent 17th century church and many riverside walks and cycle routes. Stratford-upon-Avon, with Shakespeare's house, Ann Hathaway's cottage and its famous theatres and monuments, is just 11 miles away. Warwick's medieval castle and the impressive remains of Kenilworth Castle are nearby, as well as the elegant Royal Leamington Spa, with its Georgian and Victorian buildings. Explore the charming towns and villages of the Cotswolds where it is possible to visit places that have remained unchanged for centuries. Moreton in Marsh, Chipping Campden, Stow on the Wold, Broadway and Bourton on the Water, to name but a few, are within easy reach. You can also enjoy two nearby golf courses, horse racing at Stratford, Warwick and Cheltenham (only 40 minutes), the Heritage Motor Museum or walk the Centenary Way.
