This lovely cottage is situated a stones throw away from the main street of Haworth, with its myriad of curiosity, antique shops, alleyways and cobbled streets. Equally perfect for couples, friends or a small family, Changegate Cottage is a delightful retreat only a short walk from the vibrant high street. The interior comprises of an open-plan living area, a chance to relax under exposed beams, with the electric stove. There is also a charming dining table where you can all come together to enjoy a delicious meal after the sun sets. A wall-mounted TV and record player are lovely additions to the homely layout. Upstairs, One lovely king-size and one double bedroom await, each complete with storage space, warm features and decorative bed linen for a comfy place to sleep the night away. An all-white family bathroom finishes the property in a classic fashion, designed with an overhead shower above. Downstairs, you can access the characterful enclosed courtyard, a nice spot to unwind with a refreshing drink and plan out the day ahead. The location abounds with popular places to visit, including the Bronte Parsonage Museum, East Riddlesden Hall, and the National Railway Museum in York. The market town of Skipton, often fondly regarded as the Gateway to the Yorkshire Dales, is just a short drive away, and also within reach are elegant Harrogate and Leeds. A beautiful base to return to all-season-round.
Haworth was home to the famous Bronte sisters, who were inspired by the surrounding moorland to pen their novels, which have become classics of English Literature. Haworth is a village that time almost forgot, with its myriad of curiosity and antique shops, alleyways and cobbled streets creating a wonderful period atmosphere. So ideally placed so near to the old cobbled Main Street, with its super pubs and eateries and shops. The house was just right for us and we would very much like to return again. One feedback bit - if you could put the car parking space to use in the first bit of conformation paperwork, it would help new folks; like many before, we assumed (incorrectly) that the space straight in front of the cottage was the right one - a nice lady came out to point out the error (it was her parking p=space) and we needed to move the car up a few more spaces. There is a sign there on a post - but if it were dark, you would never read it and being first timers, we never saw it at first. Other than that - lovely! Thank you!

(No twin beds) Car parking great and feel sure in âpeakâ seasons is great bonus. Appreciated very much finding milk and other âgoodiesâ especially as we were only there for 2 nights - thank you. Also a puzzle which entertained us with all the owls from memory! We were out a lot so a perfect cottage to comeback too. Perhaps a slightly bigger table in the sitting area would be an idea but would not hesitate to recommend the cottage. Thank you
