Be welcomed into a small porch where you can hang your coats and leave your boots before stepping into this contemporary dwelling. Look forward to unwinding in the open-plan living space which features an electric fire in a lovely inglenook fireplace and a large sofa and armchair seated around with a wall-mounted TV for all your entertainment needs. This room also benefits from a dining table where you can gather for an evening meal or a hearty breakfast whilst you plan events for the days ahead. Walk through to the kitchen which comes fitted to a high standard with all the necessary appliances for some home-cooking. Venture up to the first floor where you will find a lovely double bedroom with a range of furniture for storing your personal belongings. The property is child-friendly due to the single bedroom on the first floor, whilst the second floor provides a private space for the adults of the group to enjoy the super king-size bedroom with a freestanding bath for that splash of luxury. A lawned garden and patio area can be accessed via the first floor and is perfect for the summer months to dine alfresco or enjoy a refreshing beverage. While you're in the area, take a drive into the town centre of Keighley where you will find a selection of pubs, restaurants, cafés and tea rooms for those evenings you don't fancy cooking yourself; you're sure to find something to suit your tastes. The market town of Keighley is an excellent location for its close proximity to a number of attractions such as Cliffe Castle Museum and Park holding a variety of local history and heritage. Venture towards the National Trust property East Riddlesden Hall which dates back to the 17th century and is set in stunning landscaped gardens, housing a fine collection of embroidery, Yorkshire oak furniture, textiles and an amazing collection of fossils, minerals and crystals. Take a visit to Keighley and Worth Valley Steam Railway which is noted for it's nostalgic steam train ride and for its film location seen in the Railway Children, Yanks and the BBC production of Born and Bred as well as offering rides on Thomas the Tank Engine for the youngsters. Literary lovers will delight in resting here due to its closeness to the Brontë Parsonage Museum which is the former home of the famous Brontë sisters and the location where their most famous works were written. Further afield is the Nidderdale Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty and the Yorkshire Dales National Park where you can look forward to exploring the rich countryside sites by long walks, hiking or cycling if you're more adventurous. Those keen on watersports can enjoy a spot of fishing or sailing at the nearby River Worth or River Aile. Whinswood Cottage is the perfect choice for a countryside break to the heart of West Yorkshire.
