No smoking. . Situated in the heart of Todmorden, Stansfield House is perfect for those who love exploring the gorgeous countryside while also enjoying the local amenities. Set over two floors, the cottage boasts a spacious living room with dining table and modern kitchen, which leads out onto a pretty patio garden, the ideal space for relaxing after a busy day with a glass of bubbly. Upstairs on the first floor is a large master bedroom with kingsize bed, single bedroom and family bathroom.
Todmorden is a ’Walkers Welcome’ market town surrounded by stunning scenery and architecture. Situated in Calderdale, at the meeting point of three steep valleys, it’s surrounded by beautiful countryside. Also being in the heart of The Pennines it offers ample opportunity to explore the great outdoors either on foot or by bike. If you are wanting to simply relax during your break, there is also a great selection of cafés, pubs, restaurants and shops nearby to discover. Vibrant Hebden Bridge is just a 15-minute drive away with its boutiques, artisan street cafés and inspiring galleries, with something here for everyone. Be sure to visit National Trust site Hardcastle Craggs, with more than 400 acres of unspoilt woodland which can be reached in around 20 minutes. Haworth village, once home to the Brontë Sisters, is a major tourist attraction in the area and can be reached in around a 30 minute drive. Todmorden is just a 35-minute train journey directly in to Manchester city centre as well as being within easy distance for a day out in Leeds, Harrogate, Skipton, Blackpool or the Peak District National Park.
