Barmston is only 6 miles from the heart of Bridlington and only a short drive to the beaches of Hornsea and Skipsea.

Sea Breeze Cottage has been sympathetically renovated to a good standard and retains some of its original features. Warm and welcoming, it has been furnished with comfort in mind to create a very homely feel. The communal terrace to the rear benefits from the afternoon sun, whilst the twin bedroom has lovely views over open countryside. It is ideal for families wishing to enjoy the many beaches of the east cost of Yorkshire or explore the largely undiscovered Yorkshire Wolds. The local village pub serves traditional Yorkshire fayre and the village boasts it’s own duck pond. The nearest beach is dog friendly and is only a short walk away.

The famous Yorkshire seaside towns of Bridlington and Filey are only a short drive away with both offering many different restaurants and shops, not to mention the opportunity to purchase Yorkshire rock in many different flavours! Bridlington is home to an entertainment centre, and Filey boasts a promenade and a unique coble landing. The stately homes of Burton Agnes, Sledmere and Sewerby Hall are all accessible, and all have events programmes that cover the full year. For birdwatchers the rspb reserve at Bempton Cliffs is an absolute must and is home to spectacular colonies of nesting sea birds.
