Step up towards Deer Lodge and enter into the alluring open plan living area, this cosy room is laced with rustic wooden panelling to create a charming environment. Why not admire the views from the patio doors over the countryside, watch the deer outside? The cosy sitting area boasts a TV and luxury log burning effect electric fire, with the classy kitchen lying at the back of the room. Heading towards the rear of the lodge you will find two pleasantly decorated bedrooms, one with a lavish en-suite shower room. The interior of the property is topped off with a similarly finished family bathroom, the perfect place for a relaxing soak after a busy day exploring the area. Be sure to sit back and relax on your fantastic private decking which provides the added luxury of a gas BBQ for those summertime feasts. Sewerby is a fine choice for a holiday destination, it offers delightful pubs and restaurants as well as the idyllic Hall and Gardens which make a perfect place for a picnic. The neighbouring town of Bridlington is an excellent coastal town with shops, pubs, restaurants and cafés as well as a stunning beach. Deer Lodge is a splendid log cabin in a great location for a holiday.
A countryside village in between Flamborough and Bridlington. Sewerby is a base for exploring the area, it is the home of Sewerby Hall with its gardens. Visit the Bondville Model Village, perfect for families with children. Sewerby boasts a tearoom, a restaurant and a choice of pubs. Bridlington and Flamborough are beautiful places to visit with excellent scenery, buildings and activities for everybody to enjoy.

The property was absolutely beautiful . Plenty of pots, pans .crockery . In fact everything you needed was there. Lovely and clean with stunning views from the verandah of the wild life. We managed to see deer. Squirrels and many species of birds. Thank you Carole and Eric for keeping a well looked after lodge. Barbara Shearon. Stayed here 1st to 8th September

The beds are comfortable and we all slept well. The lodge is fitted out to a high standard with regards to fixtures and fittings and furniture. I wish I could say the same about the kitchen equipment, there is very little with which to cook a meal. Whilst the oven and hob are great, the only items which could be used in the oven were a pizza tray, a small oven tray and a 12 hole muffin pan, nothing which you could roast a chicken or make a baked pasta dish for instance. There isnât a washing machine or dryer and there is nowhere to dry wet clothes or beach towels. It is impossible to keep the Lodge clean as there is only a dust pan and small brush and what appears to be a car vacuum cleaner that doesnât keep a charge, so I apologise if we didnât leave the floor as clean and tidy as I would normally. Having said all that our 4 year old Granddaughter and the 2 of us had a lovely time at Deer Lodge.
