The area surrounding the cottage is a walker’s paradise with both the Minster Way and Wolds Way National Trail passing through. The local pub which serves traditional food and ale is popular both with the locals and with visitors passing through. The market towns of Beverley and Pocklington are a short drive away as is the east coast and the historic city of York with it’s many attractions. The stately homes of Burton Agnes, Sledmere House and Castle Howard are within easy reach. Beach 22 miles. Shop 7 miles, pub and restaurant 300 yards.
