The spacious and light open plan living area has underfloor heating and has been decorated with a fire engine colour scheme. The well-equipped kitchen is bright and modern and there is a dining area with a table and six chairs, with a view out of the patio doors to the fields beyond. In the sitting area are sumptuous leather sofas. On the first floor are two en-suite bedrooms, the double room boasting a freestanding bath, where you can soak tired legs at the end of the day.
The rear courtyard has a table and bench and overlooks the countryside.

The cottage is in a beautiful part of this country, but, its location on a fast road made it noisy in the early morning and sometimes late in the evening. The short spiral stairs might be awkward for some folk. Small points, really, but I would have liked a couple of tea towels provided and a cheese grater! A lovely part of the world and a holiday which we greatly enjoyed. As part of the 'older' generation we would be very unlikely to return again. This is in no way a reflection on the good accommodation.
