The open plan living area is well set out, bright and airy, with lots of natural light. The kitchen is well equipped for cooking up delicious meals whilst the spacious living area provides plenty of space to relax and watch your favourite films. After a long day of exploring the surrounding area, return to rest in this lovely lodge and enjoy a great night’s sleep in one of the two double bedrooms. The house bathroom completes the accommodation. Sunny days can be spent to the rear of the property on the enclosed patio, or sit back with a glass of wine in the hot tub and enjoy the bubbles.

The market town of Pocklington is close by with shops, takeaways, pubs, restaurants and high street supermarkets. The medieval city of York is just a short drive away where you can wander down cobbled streets, explore the ’Snickelways’ that interconnect York’s narrow streets, or marvel at the splendour of York Minster, the largest gothic cathedral in northern Europe. This area also offers many walking and cycling opportunities, and days out can be spent exploring the North York Moors National Park, Dalby Forest, or the stunning east coast with the famous seaside towns of Filey, Scarborough and Whitby. The stately home of Castle Howard and National Trust Treasurers House, Nostell and Goddards House and Garden are also well worth a visit. Shop, pub 1½ miles and restaurant 400 yards.
