A delightful, stone-built, two-storey terrace townhouse, situated in the centre of the popular market town of Settle in the Yorkshire Dales. This lovely cottage is ideal accommodation for couples or a small family to get away from it all and enjoy Dale's village life. Lovingly restored, the cottage is decorated and furnished to a high standard throughout, and provides warm and comfortable accommodation with original features on display such as exposed stonework and beams.
The ground floor features a modern fitted kitchen with small dining table and an inviting sitting room furnished with a two-seater sofa and armchair. Upstairs you will find two homely bedrooms, a dressing room and a modern bathroom. This comfortable cottage is ideally situated to enjoy splendid walks from the doorstep as well as the many attractions of the town, including the historic market square. Attractions of the area include the Falconry Centre, the Three Peaks and the Settle to Carlisle Railway line, renowned for being one of the most scenic railway routes in Britain. With the Yorkshire Dales on the doorstep and the Lake District within easy reach, this is a superb holiday base at any time of the year!
Settle rests just south west of the Yorkshire Dales National Park, surrounded by some of the most scenic landscapes in North Yorkshire with its scars, cliffs, caves and potholes to explore. Explore its markets on a Tuesday to pick up any local produce or last-minute souvenirs, as well as the town itself holding a good selection of shops and restaurants and even its own swimming pool. With Skipton and Malham within reach too, Settle makes a great base for exploring all of the wonders of Yorkshire and beyond.
