Skipton is a bustling market town and a thriving shopping and business centre.  It has an excellent selection of shops, a busy outdoor market four days a week, as well as many interesting pubs, restaurants, a cinema and a renowned livestock market.  Skipton High Street was awarded ‘High Street of the Year’ beating London’s Kensington High Street and Portobello Road, and the castle stands proudly at one end.

    Ideal location perfect for a short stroll into town along the canal path. We arrived in 2 cars and parking was available for both. The house was spacious and modern and very well equipped. Penny was very welcoming and answered all our questions before we arrived. We will definitely be returning and I would absolutely recommend Hayton Way to my family and friends.

    Very well located for town centre (8 mins walk along the canal tow path or 12 mins via road) and adjacent to a fabulous park with a great children’s playground. There is also an indoor swimming pool across the park. The house was spotlessly clean with good sized bedrooms and a well stocked kitchen. We had everything we needed for a comfortable family stay - 4 adults, 2 children and a Labrador.
