Presented to a high standard throughout, West Cottage is a spacious and traditional farmhouse in the Yorkshire Dales which is situated within easy reach of both Hawes and Leyburn.  Fully of characterful features and comfortable nooks, the property offers a superb base for outdoor enthusiasts or families with older children and one small dog is welcome to come along at an extra charge.

Inside

The cosy sitting room has a stone fireplace along with a polished wood floor and ceiling. There is also a well equipped kitchen with stone floor and two steps leading to the hallway/ utility room with flagged floor, open stonework and exposed beams. The spacious lounge has a polished hardwood floor, vaulted ceiling, wood burner stove and views over the garden towards the fells.

Entertainment facilities at the cottage include two televisions, a DVD player, video and radio/ cassette/ CD player. Modern self catering amenities at the cottage include a dishwasher, washing machine and tumble dryer.

The cottage has a lovely garden with lawn area, colourful borders, outdoor seating and country views. Parking for two cars can be found on the driveway.

There is a bus route closeby and the nearest pub is 1.5 miles away.

Other Things to Note

The rental charge includes bedding, towels, oil fired central heating, coal for the open fire, electricity and Wi-Fi. A telephone is provided for incoming calls only.

Availability

The changeover day is Friday. Please note that for winter breaks there is a minimum charge of five nights.

One small dog is welcome by arrangement at an extra £10 per stay. Please note that the property is not suitable for children under six years old.
