Pickering Railway Station is the closest railway station to Galtres Retreat&Lodge Park linking Pickering and Whitby.

Malton (about 8 miles away) is the closest station on the national rail network. There are local buses or taxi services to Pickering.

The 840 bus runs between Pickering and Helmsley, passing through the North York Moors National Park. The 595 bus connects Pickering to Malton and Scarborough, providing wider access to public transport options.

While public transport is accessible, having a car is ideal for exploring the wider area at your own pace, particularly for visiting more remote spots within the North York Moors or Whitby. The lodge has two bedrooms: the large master bedroom with a comfortable king-sized bed and a spacious second bedroom with two comfortable, full size single beds. With hypoallergenicbedding and hotel quality pillows, you’re sure to get a good night’s sleep. There is a walk-in wardrobe off the master bedroom and both rooms offer ample clothes storage space for your convenience.

The well-appointed shower-room is equipped with a walk-in shower, sink, toilet and plenty of storage space for toiletries.
