Enjoy relaxing in this country retreat in the heart of Yorkshire moorland, the open plan studio style space provides the ultimate social accommodation to take a relaxing break with a loved one.

Situated in a small hamlet in the North York Moors, being approx. 8 miles North of Kirkbymoorside, there are 600 square miles of stunning, heather coated countryside waiting to be discovered by foot or by car. Within the National Park, there are also plenty of picturesque market towns and villages with tearooms, cafes, pubs and restaurants to suit all tastes. There's a variety of independent shops, pubs and restaurants to explore in the popular market towns of Helmsley and Pickering. Local attractions include Duncombe Park, Nunnington Hall and Castle Howard. You could also head to Whitby on the North Yorkshire coast, slightly further afield. Hutton le Hole, approximately 6 miles away, boasts gift shops, pubs, the Ryedale Museum and is ideal for walkers. Visit the Rosedale Valley, home of Rosedale Abbey and the renowned glass blowing factory. Step inside the spacious open plan studio style living space and let the beauty surround you. The huge, high ceilings make the accommodation feel spacious and light, while the eclectic and elegant soft furnishings, accompanied by a few industrial style touches, bring a mixture of warm and cosy, with a hint of contemporary to the whole, unique space. The kitchen area provides everything you need to rustle up a special meal for a loved one such as electric oven and hob, fridge/freezer, dishwasher, microwave and washing machine. There is a dining table to enjoy a romantic dinner for two and you can relax and snuggle up on the comfortable sofa and chairs nestled around the warming wood burner and Smart TV. Get a good night s rest in the ornate, antique double bed which benefits from the nearby bathroom with bath, separate shower and WC. Outside, the enclosed garden overlooks the beautiful rolling countryside that surrounds you. There is a patio area with seating, perfect to sit and enjoy a chilled drink on a summer's evening with good company. There is off road parking for two cars. Need to know: Ornate wrought iron double high bed. 1 bathroom. Electric oven and hob, microwave, dishwasher, washing machine and fridge/freezer. Wood burner (first basket of logs included). Electric and central heating included. Off road parking for 2 cars. Unfortunately, EV charging is not possible at the cottage. There are local EV points in Kirkbymoorside, Pickering and Helmsley. Wi Fi included. 2 dogs welcome maximum medium sized, well behaved, quiet dogs welcomed in this cottage. Pets must not be left unattended in the cottage unless they are happy to be caged (cage not provided) and are not likely to bark. We kindly request that they are not allowed in bedrooms or on the furniture. Shop 5 miles and pub 2.5 miles. Smart TV in lounge. Short breaks can only commence on a Monday for 4 nights and a Friday for 3 nights. Floorplan available upon request for your information. Farndale Store is located just a quarter of a mile away, stocking all your essential items.
