Amari is the annexe of a beautiful stone-built cottage, situated in the pretty North Yorkshire village of Flixton near Staxton. Step into your home for the week and be instantly uplifted by the bright and fresh interior. After a day of exploring the nearby seaside resort of Filey, kick back and relax in the tastefully decorated sitting room with a stylish settee, TV and a delightful dining table for two tucked into the corner. The kitchen rests at the rear of the property, boasting all of the necessary appliances with fresh wooden units and colourful tiles to add a sense of charm to the place. Use the crisp, white shower room to get ready for a night of food and drinks at the highly-rated Foxhound Inn just a short walk away. The bedroom lies on the first floor, complete with immaculate furnishings and a Velux window to create a peaceful spot to get your rest. Make the most of the wonderful rear garden here at Amari, where you can enjoy your morning coffee or your evening tipple whilst admiring the fabulous rural setting. The small village of Flixton is only 8 miles from Scarborough and offers a welcoming open house serving food daily. Staxton is just a short drive away and is a delightful holiday base, offering a small choice of places to shop, eat and drink as well as the Spital Farm Craft Centre for a rainy day activity. There is much to do in the area, from the wonderful seaside resort of Scarborough to the picturesque North York Moors National Park for you more active guests. The village of Staxton lies near Wolds Way, 7 miles from Scarborough. A pretty street winds its way through the village, offering a butchers and a pub. Ganton Golf Course is 2 miles away, or try clay pigeon shooting at Cotton Dale. Filey and Scarborough, with their beaches, are a short drive away, bird watch at Bempton or visit Malton or York with its Minster and Jorvik Viking Centre.
