This beautiful house is situated near to the river Esk in the historic seaside town of Whitby. It has a small front suntrap patio with outside seating and is dog friendly.
Making Memories (formerly The Grace Escape) is only a short walk to many of Whitby's amenities and tourist attractions such as the Swing Bridge, the 199 steps leading up to the Abbey, St. Mary's Church, many tearooms and boutique shops. Or take a visit to the local steam trains. It retains lots of its original character and is well presented, with some original artwork. Built around 1816 to be home to Whitby patriarch, Gideon Smales, the property has been refurbished to provide all modern comforts and is now a spacious and comfortable quality holiday retreat with beautiful views of the moors to the left and views of Whitby Old Town, the Swing Bridge and West Cliff to the right.
