This beautiful cottage is in a great location for visiting the highlights of Yorkshire from the city of York to seaside towns.. Step to entrance.

First Floor:

Bedroom 2: With single bed and pull-out bed.
Bathroom: With roll-top bath, shower cubicle and toilet.. Oil central heating, electricity, bed linen, towels and Wi-Fi included. Travel cot and highchair. Welcome pack. Patio with garden furniture. Bike store. Private parking for 2 cars. No smoking.. A brilliantly restored Victorian cottage, this property offers a fantastic stay and a chance to explore all that East Yorkshire has to offer. Vicarage Cottage is set over two levels; downstairs is a cosy living area complete with an open fire, a well equipped kitchen and dining area. Upstairs you can find two good sized bedrooms, the master bedroom has beautiful dual aspect windows which enable guests to view the famous Wressle Castle without having to venture outside! The second bedroom is fitted with a single bed that can be pulled out to make enough sleeping for two people and there is a spacious family bathroom. Outside the property is a sun-trap patio area with outdoor seating.
A village named in the Domesday Book, Wressle boats its own castle and a brilliant array of walks and bike rides, perfect for walkers and cyclists alike. The nearby town of Howden offers beautiful cobbled streets and a variety of pubs, bars and shops to provide everything need during your stay.
Nearby Selby has its beautiful abbey or should you wish to venture further afield, catch the train to nearby York where you can visit York Minster, the city walls or even their famous Christmas markets. The North York Moors and its steam railway offers a stunning scenic journey through ’Heartbeat’ country, or why not visit Eden Camp, Harrogate, or spend a day at the coastal resorts of Scarborough, Bridlington and Whitby. Shops, pubs and restaurants 8½ miles.
