Fox Lodge is a traditional log cabin, one of a small collection of holiday lodges located in Rashfield, set in a stunning woodland setting on the edge of the Argyll Forest Park near Dunoon, a picturesque location with close access to Pucks Glen with a choice of magical woodland trails, and only a short walk to Ben More Botanic Gardens.
A haven for walkers and outdoor enthusiasts. Ideal for families, friends and couples, accommodating up to six guests inside this stylish and homely traditional log cabin uniquely furnished with a Scottish flair and decorated with an enchanting fox theme throughout. Featuring an open plan living area both spacious and inviting. For entertainment your modern comforts include a flat screen Smart TV and free Wi-Fi. The kitchen is well equipped with an electric oven and hob, fridge, microwave, dishwasher and a dining area. The lodge includes three individually styled bedrooms, two well-appointed double bedrooms and a twin bedroom. The modern family bathroom is complete with a walk-in shower, hand basin and toilet. To keep you snug and warm there is electric central heating throughout the log cabin.
At the entry there is an outside covered balcony deck with outdoor seating to soak up the woodland setting. You may even spot the frequent red squirrels at play. Fox lodge is a comfortable base for visiting this spectacular region and beyond.
The area boasts many outdoor activities close by. The Cowal peninsula is a wonderful region known for hill walking, fishing and wildlife. Explore further afield to Loch Lomond and the Trossachs National Park & Argyll’s secret coast, take the ferry to the Isle of Bute to visit mount Stewart, or visit historic Inveraray. It’s also an easy day trip to Oban, one of the seafood capitals of Scotland. Glasgow is just over an hour away via the western ferries or two hours by road via Loch Lomond. Beach 500 yards. Pub and restaurant 3¼ miles.
