This charming detached cottage is set in a beautiful rural location and is the perfect cosy retreat, with a wood burner and oodles of space. . Ground Floor:

Living room: With wood burner, 43" Smart TV with Chrome Cast and Netflix, bluetooth stereo speakers and wooden floor.
Kitchen/dining room: With electric oven, gas hob, microwave, fridge, dishwasher, bluetooth stereo speakers and wooden and tiled floor.
Utility room: With fridge/freezer, washing machine and tumble dryer.
Boot room: With storage for boots and coats.
Bedroom 1: With kingsize bed and wooden floor.
Shower room: With shower cubicle and toilet.
Lower Ground Floor:

Rowanbank is a spacious, detached holiday home ideal for extended families, groups of friends and those who enjoy the comfort of a spacious property. It is in a rural location in the lovely village of Kilchrenan on the beautiful Loch Awe. It has mountain views and a delightful burn running along the bottom of the garden. The house is wonderful in the summer with lovely walks and stunning wildlife on the doorstep and is also very cosy in the winter with a wood burner.
There is an excellent pub a short walk from the house and there are two hotels in the village a short drive away. It is half an hour from Oban, the ‘Gateway to the Isles’, which also has a full range of shops and supermarkets. Local facilities are available in the nearby village of Taynuilt which has a grocers, café, butchers and Post Office.
Kilchrenan sits on Loch Awe, the longest fresh water loch in Scotland, which is known for its fishing and boats that are available to hire on the loch. There’s a wide range of tourist attractions and activities in the area suitable for all ages, including Inveraray Castle, Oban Distillery, Seafari wildlife boat trip, Cruachan Visitor Centre, Inverawe Smokehouse, Inveraray Jail, kayaking and golf. Swimming and racket sports are available at Oban Leisure Centre. You could take a ferry from Oban to visit the Isle of Mull or continue on to the Isle of Staffa with its amazing rock formations, Fingal’s Cave and puffins. It is also possible to visit the beautiful Island of Iona with its white sand beaches or to visit the Island of Islay and tour its whiskey distilleries. There is something for everybody and the area will appeal to families, walkers, dog owners, wildlife enthusiasts and those just wanting to relax in beautiful surroundings.
The house is well equipped, with Wi-Fi, a Smart TV with Netflix and several bluetooth speakers. There is a barbecue and garden furniture for sunny days and a wood burner for the cooler days. The garden has two patio areas and slopes down to a lively burn at the end of the garden. The garden is not enclosed and children and dogs will need appropriate supervision. There is private parking for up to 3 cars. The house has oil fired central heating and towels and bed linen are provided. A cot, highchair and stairgates are available for infants. There is a large boot room to accommodate all your boots, coats etc. Beach 18 miles. Shop 6 miles, pub and restaurant 200 yards.
