It has a bonus of the Summerhouse set in the seaward garden on the edge of the beach, enjoying fantastic panoramas over the Solway Firth and to Criffel. The Jacuzzi Hot Tub is exclusive to guests and adds a relaxing experience to a wonderful retreat.

John Paul Jones Birthplace Museum is a hidden gem which tells the story of a local hero who is considered to be the "Father of the American Navy" only 2 miles away.

New Abbey 5 miles away has the famous Sweetheart Abbey and a working Cornmill Museum.

Mersehead Nature Reserve is 4 miles away which is the home of 20,000 Barnacled Geese from October to March.
