Granite Stanes Cottage is a lovely little cottage set overlooking the Park in Dalbeattie. It is a warm and inviting cosy cottage beautifully decorated throughout. A cottage typical of the style in the town and built from the local granite for which the town is famous for.

There is a large bedroom on the ground floor and a lovely relaxing living room with cosy wood burner, perfect for those chillier Scottish evenings, as well as a well laid out kitchen/dining room from where there is direct access to the private and enclosed rear garden so perfect for your four legged friend.

Upstairs there is a lovely double bedroom overlooking the garden to the rear, a large single bedroom and the modern family bathroom.

Granite Stanes Cottage is well placed not only for all the local amenities the town has to offer but also the surrounding stunning scenery. Dalbeattie is a charming little town with a variety of niche shops, cafés and restaurants.

From Granite Stanes Cottage you can walk through the town to the popular Dalbeattie Forest Town Walks where are several trails of varying lengths and is of course home to the world famous 7Stanes mountain biking trails where you will find some of the best mountain biking in the country.

This unspoilt area of Southwest Scotland is a joy to explore. From your base at Granite Stanes Cottage take a drive along the stunning Solway Coast with its extensive sandy beaches, rocky coves, traditional fishing villages and harbour ports, such as Kippford and Rockcliffe. With some stunning historical sites and magical National Trust Gardens to explore the area has plenty to offer. Beach 6 miles.
