This beautiful detached farmhouse is perfect for those wanting to discover both coast and country surrounding Scotland’s most southerly point.. Ground Floor:
Living room: With open fire, 42" Freeview TV and DVD player.
Dining room: With Aga.
Kitchen: With electric oven, electric hob, microwave, fridge/freezer, dishwasher, washing machine and tumble dryer.
Bedroom 1: With super kingsize bed and en-suite with bath, shower cubicle and toilet.
Bathroom: With shower over bath, and toilet.. First Floor:
Bedroom 2: With kingsize bed.
Bedroom 3: With kingsize bed.
Bedroom 4: With twin beds.
Separate toilet.. Oil central heating, electricity, bed linen, towels, Wi-Fi and coal for open fire included. Cot and highchair. Welcome pack. . Large enclosed lawned garden with terrace, garden furniture and BBQ. Hot tub for 6 (private). 2 dogs welcome, to be kept on a lead at all times (working farm). Bike store. Private parking for 4 cars. No smoking. Please note: The property has a natural water supply from a spring. . This spacious detached farmhouse sits in a tranquil location, surrounded by rolling hills with views towards the sea. Set on a working sheep and beef farm, it is situated on Scotland’s most southerly point near the Mull of Galloway. The coastline is just stunning with clifftop walks direct from the door. There are sandy beaches, shingle, and rocky coves to explore and birdlife in abundance. The rspb Mull of Galloway, with thousands of nesting birds, is close by and the visitor centre is worth a visit.
The area is very popular with walkers with the Southern Upland Way passing close by. There are many coastal villages to explore in the area. Drummore is a traditional fishing village with beautiful beaches and a quaint harbour, while Portpatrick close by has a lovely harbour, some arts and crafts outlets and restaurants. The town of Stranraer is nearby and offers shops, restaurants, and pubs. Sea fishing, both trout and salmon, golf and other country pursuits are available including shooting and riding. Visit Kirkmadrine Stones where there is evidence for early christianity 500AD. Bring a telescope and watch the night sky in truly dark skies. Day trips to Ireland can be taken from Cairnryan. Alternatively, guests can take a trip to the Logan Botanic Garden near Port Logan. Beach 4 miles. Shop, pub, and restaurant 4 miles in Drummore. Shop closes at 1pm on Sundays.

Please note, The Farmhouse is on a working farm with cattle and sheep. We welcome dog owners to our house, but a little care is required around the livestock.
