Other local attractions include golf courses, Logan Botanic Gardens and the rspb Scotland Mull of Galloway nature reserve, where thousands of sea birds nest in the cliff face during the spring and summer. The town of Stranraer offers a selection of shops and restaurants. Only a couple of miles further, Cairnryan is home to the ferries which make regular trips to Ireland for further sightseeing. Portpatrick Dunskey Golf Club, Stranraer Golf Club and County Golf Club can all be found within 5 miles. Shop, pub and restaurant 100 yards.
