Situated in a small harbour town which overlooks the Moray Firth this property is ideal for trips to the many undiscovered beaches along the coastline.. Ground Floor:

Doggy extras.. Small enclosed rear decked garden, garden furniture and BBQ. Private parking for 1 car; additional on road parking. No smoking.. Set in a quiet courtyard just a few steps from the centre of the picturesque seaside town of Fortrose, this lovely semi-detached property has been furnished and equipped to a very good standard to ensure as comfortable and relaxing holiday as possible. It is well-equipped for a family holiday with many facilities provided for the younger children including a steriliser, plastic plates and cutlery, black out blinds, night light, chidren’s toilet seat and some toys.
Fortrose lies between Avoch and Rosemarkie on the southern coast of the Black Isle and is well known for its historic buildings including Fortrose Cathedral, and is also very near to Chanonry Point which is a wonderful spot for watching the famous Moray Firth bottlenose dolphins. Hidden from the town and reached by a narrow single track road is the pretty harbour and peaceful secluded beach where you can enjoy a variety of watersports and boat trips, the boat trip to see the dolphins is highly recommended. The village amenities include a supermarket, local butcher, some lovely places to eat along with some very interesting local craft shops including a wonderful jewellery workshop.
Bank Garden Cottage makes a super base for exploring this lovely area. Slightly further afield you can take a trip along the Moray coastline, dotted with many fishing villages and unspoilt quiet beaches, and along the way you will find Culloden Battlefield, Fort George and the castles of Cawdor and Brodie. Take a trip along the Moray Malt Whisky Trail, the only one of its kind in the world! Visit bustling and popular Inverness, the Highland capital, home to a very large range of shops, museums, a theatre and great places to eat and from there take a trip down to Drumnadrochit and Loch Ness, superb monster spotting area! Amongst the many activities available are watersports, mountain biking, walking and climbing and pony trekking to name but a few. Golf, fishing, paint balling, laser tag and archery are all available close by. The area is also renowned for its fabulous links golf course. For the less energetic, Bank Garden Cottage is just the perfect place to sit back relax and unwind whilst enjoying this lovely part of the Scottish Highlands. There are fishing opportunities nearby. Beach ½ mile. Shop and pub 200 yards, restaurant 100 yards.
