Please note: 2 Small dogs welcome.. Inverken House is a convenient place to stay in Inverness. Twenty minutes walk into the city centre where there are many excellent bars, cafes and restaurants to enjoy. There’s also lots of history to explore, including the Castle and the many conservation areas in the city centre. The real bonus of staying in Inverness at Inverken House though is having a strategic base from which to explore the Highlands. All roads lead to Inverness in the Highlands, so you can easily drive out of the city in any direction and explore different parts of this amazing part of the world.
To the north you have the Black Isle and the NC500 leads you to the counties of Sutherland and Caithness. To the east the Moray Firth Coast Route leads you to historic castles and characterful fishing villages. South the Cairngorms National Park awaits with forest trails and ski runs to try. And west Loch Ness is only a ten-minute drive away with the iconic west coast of Scotland beyond. There’s so much to see and do in every direction, and from your great value base at Inverken House you will be able to explore till your heart’s content.
The accommodation is in a former council house. It is clean and tidy and surprisingly spacious. On the ground floor you have a kitchen/dining room with door out to rear garden, as well as a living room at the front of the property. Small dogs are allowed but only in the kitchen/dining room. On the first floor there’s a shower room and three bedrooms: a twin, double and single.
Inverken house (UK35781) can be booked with Invermac House (UK35780) and Invercaul House (UK35782) to accomadate up to 16 guests. Invercaul is located 350 yards from Invermac house and Inverken House.
