The wonderful rear garden, accessed directly from the garden room, has a distinctive, tropical feel with exotic palms alongside poppies and other colourful plants, giving the impression of stepping out into an island paradise!
Just a short walk from the bustling harbour, there is a pub serving food where you can watch the comings and goings of the marina at your leisure. There is plenty of heritage to explore on this coastline and activities such as walking, sailing, fishing, diving, cycling and golf available locally. During the summer the daylight hours are very long, providing every opportunity to enjoy the quality of the local scenery. The amazing coastline ranges from steep cliffs with little fishing villages strung out at the base to fantastic sandy beaches especially at Nairn and Lossiemouth, further west. There are many historic castles and gardens to visit from the spectacular ruined Findlater Castle to Duff House in Banff. Pleasant cliff walks can be enjoyed to the neighbouring villages of Cullen and Portknockie where the natural wave cut arch known as Bow Fiddle Rock can be seen. Beach 400 yards. Shop ½ mile, pub and restaurant 400 yards.
