I have visited many towns, cities and countries across the globe but nothing beats my lodge and the views you get from here are stunning.

I find it a real pleasure to host visitors to the lodge which is exceptionally comfortable and which is something I always look for when travelling. It has been refurbished to a very high standard with a very modern kitchen and bathroom but done in a way that retains all the charm of a traditional highland lodge.

As a fly fisherman the trout and salmon fishing that surrounds the lodge is fantastic, be it on Loch Tay itself which the lodge sits on, or in the surrounding hill lochs, hill burns and rivers which hold hard fighting wild brown trout.

If not fishing I enjoy hillwalking and you are spoiled for choice when staying at the lodge, the surrounding scenery really is exceptional.

Situated at the foot of Ben Lawers and on the shore of Loch Tay, the lodge is surrounded by exceptional scenery and an incredible amount of wildlife.

The park itself is award winning and has a great amenity in The Boathouse bar/restaurant.

The lodge is perfect for an active break, a chill out and relax break, a holiday with the kids or a romantic break as the area does offer something for everyone and the lodge is exceptionally comfortable.

Outlander and Game of Thrones fans can visit Doune Castle which was used in both of these series and is only 30 miles away.

There is an abundance of whisky distilleries within 30-40 minutes drive.

For the hikers and climbers there are 28 Munros in Perthshire and all within very easy reach and you can walk to both Ben Lawers and the the Tarmachan Ridge from the lodge front door.

Anglers are also spoilt for choice with Loch Tay on the doorstep and an abundance of hill lochs and rivers nearby which have some of the best wild brown trout fishing in the world.
