Set in mature woodland and a small stream bordering the open garden, it’s an idyllic place for children to play and explore, or for others to simply soak up the peace and tranquillity. Bright, welcoming and comfortably furnished, this is a great base for discovering the lovely Borders region. Kelso and Melrose have lots of interest with Floors Castle, Mellerstain House, ancient abbeys and an array of independent shops and good places to eat. Minto Golf Course is just ½-mile and there is fishing on the River Teviot and the River Tweed. There are hill walks aplenty nearby and cycling on quiet roads, or head for the Glentress Forest to get your adrenalin fix. Shop, pub and restaurant ½ mile.
