Whether it’s a base to enjoy walking, biking or a quiet break, this pleasant cottage offers beautiful views of the River Tweed.. Ground Floor:
Living/dining room: With 40" Freeview TV.
Kitchen: With electric oven, electric hob, microwave, fridge, freezer and washing machine.
Bathroom: With shower over bath, and toilet.. First Floor:
Bedroom: With kingsize bed and 32" Freeview TV.. Electric central heating, electricity, bed linen, towels and Wi-Fi included. Welcome pack. . On road parking. No smoking.. This semi-detached cottage offers simple yet spacious accommodation, with the main living space, kitchen and bathroom all on the ground floor. The living/dining room has beautiful views and a 40in TV, not that we think you’ll spend too much time watching it, a comfortable sofa and table and chairs for dining. The kitchen provides everything you will need to enjoy your break, and yes, you get to enjoy the view. The bathroom on the ground floor has a bath with shower over. The first floor has the double bedroom which is fitted with wardrobes and has another 32 inch TV for those cosy nights or lazy mornings.
The property accepts two dogs and the owners can provide a bike rack inside the property should you wish to take advantage of the road and mountain bike routes throughout the Scottish Borders. The village of Walkerburn and neighbouring Innerleithen provide the typical environment expected from Scottish Borders villages. There is a bus stop just 50 yards from the cottage for either Galashiels for the train or Peebles/Edinburgh the opposite way. Situated on the banks of the River Tweed and steeped in history from Roman times through medieval and even modern times. Shop 200 yards, pub 300 yards, restaurant 2 miles.
