About this property
This detached cottage was formerly the estate’s gardener’s cottage where he lived with his wife who was the castle's cook. Situated alongside the courtyard, this traditional sandstone cottage is accessed by two external steps and features a kitchen with a dining area and a sitting room with an open fire. Upstairs are two comfortable bedrooms and a family shower room. Note: This cottage can be booked with seven other cottages and together they sleep 30.
Kirkmichael is a small village in South Ayrshire. It is home to a local shop and pub and is a good touring base for discovering this beautiful area. Just three miles away is the town of Maybole. The Ayrshire coastline is within easy reach, whilst the busy market town of Ayr is just 10 miles away.
