A lovely cottage on a working farm with fantastic views, ideal for a get together with lots to do nearby.. Ground Floor:

Kitchen/dining room: With breakfast bar, electric oven, electric hob, microwave, slow cooker, steamer, fridge/freezer, dishwasher, coffee machine, wooden floor and patio doors leading to terrace.

Utility room: With washing machine and tumble dryer.

Bedroom 1: With zip and link kingsize bed (can be 2ft 6in twin beds on request) and en-suite wet room with grab rails, shower seat, toilet and heated towel rail.

Shower room: With shower cubicle, toilet and heated towel rail. . First Floor:

Located on the owner’s farm, Cambushinnie Croft is a spacious, detached cottage in an ideal location for a family holiday with your four-legged friend to spend time together in a quiet rural setting, yet close to the motorway network with easy access to Stirling, Perth, Glasgow and Edinburgh.

For those who enjoy walking or cycling, there are numerous established public footpaths and walks that lead out into the countryside. For days out, Stirling is an all year round destination and well worth a visit. Steeped in history, the city is home to some of Scotland’s best attractions including Stirling Castle, the National Wallace Monument, Church of the Holy Rude and Cambuskenneth Abbey.

Stirling University is less than 20 minutes’ drive and this is a good base for those who may be attending one of the graduation ceremonies. Cambushinnie Croft is ideal for guests who enjoy a round of golf on holiday. With one of the best golf courses in the world, Gleneagles is only a short drive and there are numerous golf courses locally. The area is well known for outdoor activities. Callander, Loch Lomond and the Trossachs National Park are close by with mountains to climb, gentle walks along the riverside, cycling, mountain biking, nature spotting, sailing and cruises on the lochs.

The cathedral city of Dunblane is only 4 miles away and is the home town of Andy Murray. You can see the tennis club where he played as a boy and have your picture taken at the golden post box. Dunblane is an attractive place to visit with a small high street with a good selection of places to eat and local independent shops. There is a cathedral and other historic buildings, some dating back to medieval times, and a museum, all worth a visit. There are also good rail links to Glasgow, Edinburgh, Perth and Stirling.

When you arrive back from your day’s adventure, you will find welcoming Cambushinnie Croft has been thoughtfully furnished and equipped. On the ground floor, the open plan, well-equipped kitchen is ideal for preparing a special meal. The cosy living room with comfortable seating has a welcoming wood burner where guests can relax and plan their next day’s adventure. Ideal for guests with limited mobility with ramp access at both the front and back doors, the ground floor bedroom has an en-suite wet room. Lots of outside space to enjoy and relax with a glass of wine, taking in the super views over the countryside to The Ochil Hills whilst the children play in the garden. The River Allan borders the owner’s land and you can fish for trout in season.

Dogs are welcome and dog toys and treats are provided, but guests are asked to keep pets on a lead when walking through the farm. By prior arrangement, guests may bring their horse, or take a tour of the farm. Children can collect eggs and there are two rescue donkeys to meet which you can assist with the feeding. Shop 4 miles, pub and restaurant 4½ miles.
