The popular tourist town of Drymen can be reached in under 10 minutes and is ideal for picking up supplies, having a meal out or visiting the historic monuments. If you enjoy outdoor activities, then you are spoilt for choice with walking, cycling, golf, fishing and water sports all available nearby, alongside the West Highland Way which passes nearby. Enjoy a cruise on Loch Lomond seeing the breath-taking scenery from the water and discover the islands for stately homes on the shore.

The area has a rich history and the ancient city of Stirling is just 25 miles away with its famous castle, Wallace Monument and Bannockburn Visitor Centre, along with many historic links to people such as Rob Roy Macgregor, William Wallace and Mary Queen of Scots, all of whom had a part to play in the history of this area.

For a day out for all the family and only 6 miles away, Loch Lomond’s shore is well worth a visit with designer shopping, great places to eat, outdoor activities, the Sea Life Aquarium and regular events throughout the year. There is something for everyone to enjoy!
