Gather the family around the dining table to tuck in, or if the sun is shining, step outside to delight in an alfresco affair where the stream running at the back of the garden creates a truly tranquil setting. When stars fill the sky, head inside to wash off the day’s adventures in the ground-floor bathroom before sloping off to sleep in either the double or twin bedroom. We were very comfortable here. The location of the cottage was brilliant for exploring the local area. We would definitely return to Ty Newydd.

But that was our mistake! Driveway fitted our 2 vehicle fine. Into the property by the side door brings you into a entrance space which I perfect for drying off wet dogs and removing mucky boots, with a coat hanger! For some reason most holiday cottages don't have a coat hanger. Also in this space is a large fridge with a couple pints of milk, which was very welcome, thank you. From here you are straight into the kitchen, which is well proportioned. Electric fan oven and plenty of pots and pans. The bathroom is at the far end of the kitchen, with shower over the bath. From kitchen you go into the large front room, where you can access the garden through the patio doors. 2 large leather sofas and chair in front room. Large TV, which sadly we couldn't find the instructions for, and struggled to use, as we don't have a smart TV! But we got there eventually. Upstairs are 2 bedrooms, 1 double and a twin. Very well proportioned rooms, and lovely view over the garden. We would definitely say here again if in the area. The extra doggy treats were very welcomed from the dogs.

Great location , lots to visit within a short drive Lovely garden nice n private and peaceful With the river flowing Fire was an added bonus very warming with plenty of firewood Owners were great only a call away to advise on places to visit etc Canât wait to revisit in the summer
