Bathroom 1: Walk-In Shower, Heated Towel Rail, Toilet.  Central heating, electricity, bed linen, towels and Wi-Fi included.  Initial logs for wood burner included.  Travel cot, highchair and stairgate available on request.  Welcome pack. .  Garden with patio, garden furniture and BBQ.  Private parking for 2 cars.  No smoking. .  Come and enjoy the delights of Tynval, nestled on the edge of the rural hamlet of Bronwydd Arms near the market town of Carmarthen.  This beautiful, single-storey barn conversion was once the milking parlour and part of the once busy Cwmgwili Mill Farm, which is steeped in history and dates back to the 1600’s.  The mill, which is on the side of the farmhouse, stopped working in the 1950’s.  The mill first produced flour and then was converted into a woollen mill which produced blankets for the war.  The farm was built by the owners of Cwmgwili mansion, which is a short walk up the hill, and served as the source of food for the estate owners many years ago.  The owners have meticulously restored Tynval and retained all the quirks and charm throughout, with vaulted ceilings, beams, exposed stone walls and solid teak flooring offering a superb barn for your family to enjoy. 

Here at TynVal we are trying to be energy self-sufficient to reduce our carbon foot-print, you will notice we have solar panels on the roof which we can produce up to 7kwh and we can store 10kwh with our battery storage,every thing within the cottage is powered by electric so during the summer months we don’t need to take any energy from the grid, so we would ask guests kindly if they would use . . .
