Despite it s peaceful and rural location you ll find the market town of Llandovery just 3 miles away, with a castle, restaurants and plenty of pubs. Jump on the Heart of Wales train line from Llandovery Station, getting to the city of Swansea in just over an hour. Completely unique from the inside out, this 16th century property retains plenty of traditional charm and original decor. It is the former gamekeeper s cottage to LLwynywormwood House, which is across the valley and owned by HRH Prince of Wales. Switch on the Victorian gas lighting and unwind in the cosy lounge. Savour the peace and quiet of no TV or Wi Fi, enjoying one another s company or pick up a good book to enjoy. The lounge has comfy sofas, radio/CD player and a wood burner for ambient evenings, whilst the adjacent conservatory is a relaxing spot for birdwatching. This open plan room also contains a gas cooker, fridge/freezer and microwave for preparing dinner, as well as a spacious dining table for evening meals. Completing the ground floor is a shower room with WC and ornate tiling. Head upstairs via narrow cottage style stairs to find four snug bedrooms. Two of these are peaceful singles, one is a sociable twin and the final room is a comfortable double with sloping ceilings. A retro bathroom with WC and bath complete this unforgettable cottage. Head outside via the conservatory to find a generous garden set to lawn, with a steep drop into the lower field. Dine alfresco at the picnic table or fire up the BBQ for summer evenings. Be sure to make use of the summer house for storing mountain bikes and sports equipment, or simply enjoy dark skies and red kite spotting in the garden.
