This stone-built property, nestled on 48 acres of picturesque pastureland, is an idyllic rural retreat full of rustic charm and serves as an exceptional base for a couple or solo traveller eager to explore the breathtaking Ceredigion coast and countryside with their canine companions, or even their horse.
Pass through the stable side door and enter the well-equipped kitchen/dining area, where you can prepare a hearty meal and recharge for your next adventure. Moving through to the inviting lounge area, the space is filled with light streaming in through its large Georgian windows. Relish cosy evenings snuggled up in front of the gas wood-burner-effect fire on the velvet and tweed sofa with a good book or watching your favourite movies on the Smart TV. Upstairs, you’ll find a spacious bedroom with a super-king-size bed, which can also be arranged as a twin. This room includes a walk-in wardrobe, a dressing table, and views over the courtyard. The generously sized bathroom completes the internal layout. Outside, discover an enclosed, lawned garden at the rear of the property, featuring views of the surrounding paddocks and outdoor dining furniture for you to enjoy al fresco dining. If you’d like to take in the sights and give your dogs some exercise, there’s a convenient 2K circular walk starting right from the doorstep. Stabling for horses can be arranged at an additional fee with the owners.
The Welsh-speaking market town of Llandysul is 1.5 miles away, where you’ll find a variety of shops and eateries. Llandysul is renowned for its salmon and sea trout fishing in the River Teifi, and if you’re seeking additional adventure, the area offers an array of outdoor activities, including canoeing, golfing, horse riding, and more. The beloved seaside town of New Quay is 15 miles away, but don’t miss the opportunity to explore lesser-known bays like Tresaith, 14 miles from home.
