About this property

This picture perfect stone terraced cottage is situated in the country village of Glanwydden, just over 3 miles from the seaside town of Llandudno. Primrose Cottage is full of character features combining with fresh and modern décor to create a charming cottage for couples for a well-deserved romantic getaway. From the porch of this lovely cottage you enter the sitting room, which is full of original features including the exposed stonework, wooden floors and original beams on the ceiling. There is plenty of seating in front of the multi-fuel stove, to relax in front of after a day filled with adventures. From the sitting room there is a bathroom and a step leading into the well-equipped kitchen with a good sized glass top dining table and chairs. All doors are original wooden latch doors with a good selection of stained glass windows throughout. Upstairs there is a single bedroom with French doors which lead out onto a roof terrace with furniture; an ideal place to relax with a glass of something chilled whilst enjoying the views out to the surrounding fields, woods and mountains which really gives you that wow factor. There is also a king-size double bedroom with lots of original features and a comfy window seat to enjoy. The pretty front garden has been carefully planted to provide stunning colours and scents throughout almost the entire year and a sitting area is provided to enjoy this place. The cottage is centrally located between the beautiful coastline and the scenic countryside of North Wales. Glanwydden is set in an unspoilt valley with plenty of walks from the cottage as well as a cycle route (National Cycle Route no 5) to take advantage of. You can also visit the very popular local pub and restaurant, The Queen's Head, renowned for consistently good food right across the region, before heading home to the cottage for the night. A few miles takes you to the seaside town of Llandudno with plenty of shops and restaurants as well as a theatre to enjoy. If you fancy a day on the beach, why not try either the North Shore with its promenade or the quieter West Shore with miles of shoreline and sand dunes backed by views towards Anglesey. Further afield is the town of Conwy which is dominated by the splendid Conwy Castle and completely enclosed by its well-preserved town walls. For those more energetic, why not take a trip to Snowdonia National Park with plenty of walking and cycling opportunities to take advantage of? There are also the award-winning attractions of Surf Snowdonia, Zip World and Bounce Below which will provide hours of entertainment. Set in stunning countryside, Primrose Cottage is a charming, characterful cottage to enjoy at any time of the year.

Glanwydden is a tranquil village which could be described as the ultimate retreat, perfect for exploring the dramatic scenery, walking the unspoilt sandy beaches or visiting the historic castles, churches and gardens of the area. Just 3 miles away is the seaside resort of Llandudno, which offers two superb beaches, excellent shops, pubs and restaurants, a popular dry-ski slope and wonderful views from the summit of the 679' high Great Orme.
