This welcoming barn is situated on the owners grounds in the village of Ton Kenfig and is less than a 5-minute walk from the National Nature Reserve. It’s the perfect place for avid birdwatchers with its wide range of wildlife and also has a popular golf course. Once featured on the favoured TV show ’’Time Team’’, this steeped in history village once had it’s own castle which was covered by sand in the 16th century. Now only the castle tower is remaining with the buried village. The local pub is within a 5-minute walk and houses the Town Hall on the first floor. You can also find Kenfig Pool a 5-minute walk from the property, this reserve is one of the last remnants of a large dune system that once stretched along the coastline of Southern Wales. Please be aware the the Wi-Fi in the property is not always available due to the age of the building.

Sker beach is accessible only by foot with a less than 30-minute walk from the property, take in the fresh air and views at this astonishing spot. Sker beach is a wonderful place for surfers and once here you can take a walk to Porthcawl Rest Bay Beach. For those wanting to take in a country walk or cycling, then Margam Country Park is 4 miles from the property, hosting the fabulous Margam Castle. This park is set in 1000 acres of parkland full of history, wildlife and attractions for all. This area is great for birdwatchers, and there are also three golf courses nearby.
